I cannot change itunes backup location

I d like to back up my Iphone to my Windows 11 computer. However on C drive I dont have 250GB space and it trying to save there anyway. On D drive i would have enough space, but itunes does not offer any way to change backup location. I asked bing AI how to do it, but it is so difficult, that I cannot do.

See Relocate iOS device backups. Review the rest of the Make a split library portable user tip for advice on organizing the library on external storage.

Hello Zoroo84,

Changing the default iTunes location is not something that is supported by Apple, so we don't have advice on that. If you would like to move your backup to an external drive, this page offers a bit of information: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support:

"Copy backups to another location

If you need copies of your backups, you can find the Backup folder and copy the entire folder to another place, like an external drive or network-storage location.

Time Machine automatically copies your Backup folder when you back up the Home folder on your Mac."

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
