numbers download problem

I am having problems download files from websites. It goes to "about" and totally stops as if something is prohibiting the information from being downloaded.

I am having absolute no other problems with any website and if I cannot find and fix the problem will have to use my BIG SUR machine which is extremely slow to use or open up my MONTERREY machine to work as almost normal speed.

Since this is my banking site, I need this download to reconcille my checkbook.

Numbers does not download anything. Safari does.

Since all websites work well except your bank's maybe the problem is with your bank's website, not the computer. You may want to call their technical support line. Sometimes web sites using old technology do not play well with new browsers' features.

In Safari you may want to right-click in the address bar to set the interaction with the bank's website. Just for a test disable the content blockers and allow pop-up windows. If it doesn't make any difference set them back to their original value.

That is doubtful BECAUSE I booted up my Monterrey machine and obtained a download with absolutely no problems, other than having to move that DL over to the Ventura machine.

However, I did note that the ending of the DL was exactly the same as what was showing on the Ventura machine.

My main problem with 'system preferences' is the disparity between the two OSs. i.e. familiarity with the old and absolute disparity with the new where some things are not where expected.

Will check that 'popup window' thing IF I can find it.
