I mistook this for a Mac mini. So, see below. Resetting your router doesn't mean to factory reset it --it just would refresh issues --nothing would be reset.

Troubleshooting iPhone WiFi not Working:

Try The Following the the Order Provided:

I. Start Here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t Connect to a Wi-Fi Network - Apple Support

II. What Else to Try:

A. Restarting the iPhone:

If any changes were made (i.e. Installed Apps), then Settings (i.e Wf-Fi), may have become manipulated technically. So, try restarting the iPhone:

1. Go To: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Shut Down
4. Slide: Your Finger to the Right

B. Disable Cellular:

Try disabling Cellular, and using Wi-Fi instead, seeing if that makes all the difference. Cellular always overrules Wi-Fi.

C. Try manually restarting your iPhone:

1. Go To: Settings
2. Select: General
3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
4. Select: Shut Down
5. Slide Finger: to the Right
6. Wait: 30 Seconds
7. Power One: the iPhone
8. Try this Once More

Contact your Carrier. They provide you with the service of Cellular.

What you are seeing it what is available in your location. 5G is still working its way around the world. So, if it is going back-and-forth between the two, then 5G is not strong enough to keep still. But, your Carrier would know what services are available to you.

Troubleshooting iPhone WiFi:

A. About having No Internet Connection:

Just because you are connected to a network, does not mean you have an Internet connection. You may be connected to an internal LAN, and not to the Internet.

A few thoughts to try...

I. Clear the Temporary Internet Files:

• Cookies perform remembrance of certain site-entered data.
• Cache keeps a snapshot of the last time you visited a site.

II. Restart your Router:

1. Power: off the router
2. Wait: 30 seconds
3. Power: It back on

III. Boot in Safe Mode:

In Safe Mode, Login Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait 30 seconds, and then boot up normally, attempting another update install. For instructions, go here: How to Use safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support

IV. Try a New Admin User:

What happens when you create a new administrator user, and log into it? Do you still get this error? If not, then it is likely an error with the current user. If so, then it is likely an error with your Mac.

V. Reset your SMC and your NVRAM:

(Applies to Intel-Basel Macs Only) Sometimes changes (i.e. Installations) are made to the system and then settings (i.e. Networking) become corrupted, technically. So, reset both on your Mac. So, reset the SMC and reset the NVRAM or PRAM. It might take three tries. to fix this. So, be certain you have the time to do so.

VI. Add Back the Network:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Wi-Fi
3. Remove: the network
4. Wait: 30 seconds
5. Add: the network back

The Web isn't life-dependable --something we all take for granted nowadays.

Restart the Router:

What all the reluctancy? Unplug the router for 30 seconds, and then power it back on --that's all there is to it.
