Can I plug my iPhone 15 Pro Max into an extension cord instead of directly into the wall outlet

I am sitting far from an outlet and those cords are too short I even got a Mag Safe wireless charger supported also by my new case and need to know if I have to plug directly into an outlet or can I use an extension cord to plug into

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17

As long as it's UL-rated (or whatever the agency is in the country in which you live) and you don't run it under a rug or across the floor where someone could trip on it and cause your phone to go flying, it should be fine. My office at work has outlets in weird places, so I use a fairly heavy-duty powerstrip with a long cord so that I can plug in things on my desk.
