Pop up from apple security

I had a pop up on my Chrome browser that I've never seen before. I don't know how to deal with it and it won't allow me to delete or navigate that page. Here's a screenshot: How do I fix this???

The message is a scam presented by criminals. Do not interact with the message. Close the offending page and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics. If required, force quit the browser.

You are welcome. Most such messages are nothing more that ads presented by unscrupulous websites, with the intent of having you download unnecessary software, or worse still, have you call the number presented. After calling such numbers, the criminals would then try all available methods to separate you from your hard earned money. No scan should be required. Instead, please read through the link I posted in my initial reply, as well as:
