Icloud issues with Facetime and Ical

Hello! Im having issues with my macbook now allowing me to use facetime, even though I've logged into the correct icloud account. In addition, I'm trying to share my ical with my husband, and no email address pop up. I've ensured his email addresses are listed on my contact page. However, I do notice that my contacts on my MacBook and my phone aren't synced. I'm thinking there is an icloud syncing issue and I can't seem to get it figured out.

Not only must you be using the same iCloud account on both devices, you must allow them to use iCloud for the different applications individually.

In System Settings (Settings on the iPhone), open your ID (top, with your picture) and select iCloud. Under the four first apps (Photos, iCould Drive, Mail iCloud, Keychain) click on button Show All. Make sure all required apps are toggled on.
