Turning Off Live Photo on multiple photos in iMac album

I have photo albums that contain many iPhone photos taken with the "Live" feature turned on. For slide shows I find this feature annoying (and consuming of data room).

On my iMac Is it possible to filter these live photos in the album and accomplish a multiple turn off the Live feature without going photo by photo? And even if I go photo by photo, does the change "stick" for future use of the previously Live photo?

Hello Guy Towle,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Live Photos will already be sorted in a specific album in the Photos app on Mac. If you have your Photos app open, on the left side you'll see the Albums section listed. Live Photos will be found in the Media Types album: Create and work with albums in Photos on Mac - Apple Support

From there, you can turn off the Live Photo option by following these steps: Change a Live Photo in Photos on Mac - Apple Support

* Convert the Live Photo to a still image: Click the Live Photo button  at the bottom of the window.

We hope this information helps you. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
