I had the same problem till yesterday, I did a research about it all around as it was very unpleasant to see in my iPhone 15 pro max, I found the solution of this problem.

I’ll share a screenshot of what I’ve done to stop that suggestion showing in top left of the screen. Hopefully it will help anyone who’s facing this “apple software glitch”

Go to settings, accessibility and then to switch control, scroll down and turn off *extended predictions* as it is on by default.

Good luck and God bless you all!

Hello Alyaa Asmida,

If you have issues with a specific app, then we'd recommend taking these related steps for a solution: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

If an app on your iPhone or iPad doesn't work as expected, try this.

1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Get more help

* If the App Store itself is not responding, contact Apple Support for your iPhone or for your iPad.

* If you found the app on the App Store, contact the app developer. If the app is made by Apple or came with your iPhone or iPad, contact Apple Support for your iPhone or for your iPad.

* If you bought the app recently and you no longer want it, you can also request a refund.

As mentioned at the bottom, if the issue continues to occur and only within that particular app, then it would be best to contact the app developer for further support.

Hoping this helps out.

Cheers.

I tried to find the pattern to this. So basically when you enter a wrong spelling of a word and the you start deleting it, apple shows some correct suggestions. This happens for all the inputs which you are giving, be it whatsapp, instagram, message, slack, notes, snapchat, any where.

I was facing issue in whatsapp and slack. I turned off the setting of Check Spelling, to avoid facing this scene every now and then.

Any info on how to report this bug would be highly appreciated. Thanks !

Nope, nothing works. I have been facing this issue since 8-9 months now. I have had a word with apple customer support executives 4-5 times in these past months but there’s no solution to this problem as I can see it for myself. This issue persists for all the apps other than Apple’s own apps like Notes, Messages, Safari etc.

In these past 8-9 months I didn’t get anything other than appreciations from Apple’s customer support for identifying and reporting this bug.
