Cannot dictate with my microphone

My microphone is on and works sometimes, but often (just recently) there is a line through it indicating it is blocked. How do i remove it? It is ‘on’ in my settings…

Hello,

If you have a case on your phone, remove it and try again. See this:

Note: you can test the microphones with the Voice Memos app.
