Off-Premises Apple TV HD "Hijacks" Home App

I play pool Friday nights with a group of people. We like listening to music when we play. To enhance the experience we bought a large-screen TV and I donated my older Apple TV HD so we can log into my Apple Music Account and listen while displaying lyrics, animated album art, etc.

Here's the issue; where we play pool isn't at my house. And lately, it seems that when the billiards Apple TV is launched and it links to the local wifi, it ends up hijacking my Home app settings and all the "smart HUE lights" at my house stop responding to commands, automations, etc.

I can solve this by removing the billiards Apple TV from my account when I get home, but the next time the billiards Apple TV is launched and attaches to wifi the issue recurs. (and I get an on-screen notice when I do delete the off-premises Apple TV that this is exactly what is going to occur)

I think I may have made a settings change on the billiards Apple TV that allowed it to join my "Home Hub & Bridges" and I can't figure out how to remove it.

Your advice is appreciated.

In the Home app on mobile (iPhone or iPad or iPod touch) with matching Apple ID, you can turn off the home hub setting for one of several HomeKit home hub devices (at least one hub device (Apple TV box or HomePod) should remain in the home). The disconnected device should then be an independent device not linked to HomeKit.

Thanks. I have gone to that setting and can see four home hubs (including the billiards hub) and two HUE bridges. However, I can't select any of the home hubs to edit (remove) them. The HUE bridges are editable.

The billiards hub does have grayed-out letter below it noting- "Home Hub is not responding." Due, probably, because it is currently off and has been removed from my account.

The other three hubs are noted as one "Connected" and the other two in "Standby".

All share the same Apple ID.
