Hello, I’m new here, I’ve seen an iPad Pro 11 inch 2nd generation case in another store today and I was not sure if this iPad Pro 3rd generation would be compatible with the case?

It should work fine. Both generations of 11" iPad Pro have the exact same dimensions.

The “Smart Folio for iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation)” case, which is the current folio case sold by Apple, is compatible with all four generations of iPad Pro 11”.

So there’s a good chance the case you saw would work as you described.
