Hi ggrossmann,

If you haven't done so yet, it's also a good idea to make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version, since this can help correct unexpected behavior: Update your iPhone or iPad

If an update is available, be sure to create a backup before installing it.

If your iPhone is already updated, or if updating doesn't help, try setting your email up manually with these steps: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If Mail can't find your email settings when you attempt to add your account manually, you can try adding those settings yourself. You can use the Mail Settings Lookup tool to get your account settings here: Mail Support

Then follow these steps:

1. Choose IMAP or POP for your new account. If you aren’t sure which one to choose, contact your email provider.
2. Enter the information for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next. If you don't have this information, try to look it up.
3. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to edit them.

If you still can't set up your email account or save your email settings, contact your email provider.

Regards.
