My mac book air suddenly types in Arabic even though the language and keyboard are set to english and I don't know how to fix it. What should do

There's no problem having multiple keyboards on the list. The one being used is chosen in the Input Menu at the top right of the screen.
Try and restart the Mac to see if the issues persist
You might want to check your Mac's region settings: Change Language & Region settings on Mac - Apple Support

I did that after updating. I closed every app and then closed down left it and restarted after 15 mins it's still the same
All sorted now. There was adnams beolw English as the language. Choosing English didn't fix it so I removed adnams and it is back to english now. Thanks for suggestions
