Airplay/Screen Mirroring, Sonos and MacBook Pro

Before getting a Sonos Beam that was connected to our Vizio TV by Best Buy guys we were able to Airplay or Screen Mirror to TV because the TV showed in the drop-in down list of displays/accessorie with which to connect. Now, the tv display does not show up but the Sonos Beam does and I can get audio portion for anything I want to watch but no video.

How do I get my video back to play both audio and video? TIA

Can't find or turn on Airplay so that I can mirror my Macbook Pro screen on a TV monitor I've tried everything I've found out there on the internet. The bottom line is my year old and updated Macbook Pro does not seem to have Airplay installed and there is not Airplay app to install on it. There is no Preferences and in System Settings/Display there is no button or pull down menu enabling Airplay. The Find search shows no Airplay app installed. An App Search shows no Airplay App. I even tried to download one of the mirroring apps that will allow me to mirror my macbook pro screen to a tv monitor for a presentation. But so far, after reading the reviews, they all have problems and I really don't need problems when I'm giving a presentation to a large audience. I'm about ready to run out and buy or rent a pC laptop to get me through my presentation.

play video from mac air to hisense tv when i go to screen mirror it shows another tv in the house not the hisense one. how to change?

MacBook Pro 2023 not screen sharing/airplay or displaying onto my iMac I have a 2023 Macbook Pro 16" and I am trying to use my Late 2013 Imac as a monitor/external display. I can use airplay on the imac and screen mirror to my macbook pro but I am trying to get it the other way around. I want to use my macbook pro to display on my iMac so I won't have to buy a monitor. I purchased every cord possible. HDMI to Minidisplay port, Hdmi to usb, Hdmi to usb c adapter connected to hdmi then usb connected to thunderbolt 4. nothing is working. I've tried every YouTube video. Nothing shows up on my MacBook Pro that any wires have been attached, its not reading anything. To make sure the ports were working I attached the hdmi from my Samsung tv into my MacBook Pro and it worked perfectly. What am I doing wrong, there videos showing it can be done but also told by apple that the feature isn't there but there's many work arounds on YouTube and people are actually using it. any advice would help.
