Someone recommended turning your phone to low battery mode and it worked!!

As far as posting goes, I learned that if you put the photo into the app FACETUNE, and then save it(NO EDITING NEEDED). The photo then uploads to instagram without the weird filter changes. Worked for me so give it a try!

I found another easy fix. When loading the photo on Instagram, slightly toggle one of the edit functions (brightness, saturation…), even by 1%, and the ugly enhancement will go away.

I uninstalled then reinstalled the Instagram app on my phone - problem solved!!
