Is there an adapter that is Lightning Male to USB-C Female that will pass data (sound and video) from an iPhone to a device connected to a cable with USB-C Male on one end and HDMI Male on the other end? I want to connect my iPhone to my TV using hard wire, not AirPlay. Can it be done?

We'd like to help! While we see the opposite of what you're looking for in the article above your post, we weren't able to find what you were looking for on the Apple website.
That being said, we were able to find a different adapter that has a male Lightning connection, and a female HDMI cable connection: Lightning Digital AV Adapter You can plug this into your iPhone Lightning connection, and use a regular HDMI cable to connect the adapter to your TV.
