Login to icloud.com web interface from other (non-Apple) devices?

I‘d like to know, if and how I would be able to login to icloud.com to have access to my data and to configurations for FindMy in a case, where my Apple devices connected to my Apple ID would be stolen?

All my actual Apple devices are connected to my Apple ID, but when I manually login on Safari to iCloud.com (by manually entering Apple ID and password) I still get a notification to my devices, if I want to allow this access.

So I am wondering how I would be able to login in case of a theft of my backpack for example and if I would then be able to at least access my data from a third-party device and report stolen devices and remote erase via FindMy in this case?

So this path works also on a device, that’s not connected to your Apple ID (an Android phone from a friend, a windows laptop in an internet cafe, …) without needing permission to access from one of your devices?

OK, this would at least allow to mark your devices as stolen and erase them in case, the situation would occur, that you can only login to Find My like that.

And what about the files and the other data (mails, notes, calender entries, …), that are accessible via icloud.com? Is it somehow possible to access those from another device on the website too, if your Apple devices are not accessible anymore to you?
