iPhone 15 plus getting hot/warm while using camera app

Hi Team,

I have 5 days old iPhone 15 plus which is running on iOS 17.0.3. I am facing an heat/warm issue with the phone especially when using camera or while talking on calls.

as soon as I open the camera app, slowly its start getting warm/hot and it starts from the back side top left corner and spreads down. If I close the camera it’s going to normal temp in 5-6 mins.

Please suggest if anyone has any idea about this issue.

Hello karun1202,

Per About iOS 17 Updates - Apple Support, iOS 17.0.3 was "[an] update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and addresses an issue that may cause iPhone to run warmer than expected." In your case, since that seems to possibly still be going on, we'd recommend that you contact Apple Support to look into this in greater detail.
