Mirror iphone to tv full screen

I'm trying to mirror from my iphone 8 to Samsung tv FULL SCREEN. Mirroring is no problem but I am unable to get full screen on the tv. any ideas?

You'll want to start by making sure you're viewing the content in full screen on your iPhone. Learn more about using AirPlay here: Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If that doesn't seem to help, then there is most likely a setting on your TV that will need to be adjusted. You can reach out to the manufacturer of your TV for more help with that.
