If you've forgotten your Apple ID username, you can utilize the guidance outlined in If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support, which are designed to help you recover the Apple ID.
If you've forgotten your password as well, you can follow the guidance in If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support to reset your password in after you've recovered your Apple ID.
Should you not be able to do that, you can try account recovery to regain access to your Apple ID: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support
If all else fails, and you can provide proof of ownership, you can try to request Activation Lock removal from the iPhone 12: How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support
