i got a popup on my phone something to do with the home button. my home button is fine, i got it replaced by a local phone repair shop a few days ago. i did not read the pop up so im not sure what it said. But it seems to keep making the assistive touch on and off, if i turn it off it turns back on in a minute. If i leave it, it turns off in a minute and then back on.
im on iphone 8 with ios16.7.1
any help appreciated,

Honestly that sounds like the iPhone thinks the home button is being pressed rapidly to turn on Assistive Touch.
I'd take it back to the shop.
