Since last iOS update, Numbers has stopped recognizing stock quotes for some tickers.

Numbers does not recognize some stock quotes since the last update. Before the update, all my tickers were recognized. For example MTDR, & OBDC, & KHC, & ICLR, & AMK shows error symbol "there is no security named MTDR etc....All of these securities were recognized before the Sonoma 14.0 update.

Numbers gets its data from Yahoo! Finance. Many people have reported problems retrieving data. So there might have been a temporary problem, that seems to have been corrected.

I am running Numbers 13.2 under macOS Sonoma 14.0. I opened the My Stocks template (at File > New in the menu), entered your symbols, and get expected results.

You might try the same test. If you're still having problems then you could try restarting your Mac.

The problem is not with the stocks template. It is with a spreadsheet I designed

I can confirm that the symbol AMK is recognized properly by the STOCK function on my Mac running Numbers 13.2 under Sonoma 14.0 but not in the same document opened on the iPad running Numbers 13.2 under iPadOS 17.0.3.

You might want to leave feedback with Apple citing an apparent bug.

On the iPad: Tap the circled three dots > Help > Send Feedback. Or follow this link:
