Apple Watch timer Done screen color customization?

I just upgraded my Apple WatchOS to version 10.0.1 and find the new bright orange Done screen for the timer really ugly and startling. Is there any way to customize this screen color?

No, what I said specifically was that it was "ugly and startling," not that I was unable to read it. The only tip I asked for was whether the color could be changed and, if so, how. Perhaps you meant to be responding to @greyland.

and my original answer was no.

When someone else enters the discussion it complicates the issue.

Not only do not like the color, I can't read it as easily as the previous color. And because of a couple of things I do during the day, I run multiple timers at the same time for different lengths. Being able to actually read which timer is going off was helpful so I knew which thing it was for, now its almost impossible for me to do so.

If it was orange in watchOS 9 before, then something else changed so my 71 year old eyes are now having trouble reading. Maybe if the numbers and circle were black on the orange I could read it easier due to the contrast.

But I can’t find where to change that either. 🧐

My 72 year old eyes find it unattractive but I can still see the X.
