No Carplay in 2017 Forester-HELP!

Bought a 2017 Forester that is a great car BUT -No Carplay 😟 Is there a fix for this or do I have to replace the radio?

Thank you all that offered help and suggestions for no carplay in my ‘17 forester. I talked to my Subaru dealership and was told Carplay didn’t start in my car until 2018-missed it by that much ☹️. Looks an aftermarket radio is $800 plus installation so…. i’ll just listen to my iPhone maps and forget about the Subaru navigation. Thanks again.-James

I talked to my local Subaru dealer in reference to my 2017 Forester & found out: NO Apple Carplay until 2018, was told: buy a newer car, buy an aftermarket radio or use my Maps on my iPhone- or I can continue to use the unacceptable Subaru Navigation system.

Like I said, great car-crappy Navigation
