When I set my phone down after sending a text, while I am still in text messages, then the phone starts “listening” and automatically types a text, and types everything that it hears. I often look down and see a whole text has been created based on the TV or a conversation I am having outside of the phone. How do I stop this?

If your iPhone seems to be turning your speech in to text, it sounds like you may have Dictation enabled. This resource can provide more info about that, including where you can go to toggle it off: Dictate text on iPhone - Apple Support
