iOS 17 Dynamic Wallpaper

The Dynamic Wallpapers disappeared when I updated to iOS 17. They're still available on my Macs, but I can't find them anymore on my iPhone. I don't know about the rest of you, but as someone with ADHD and time blindness, having that extra visual cue indicating the time of day was super helpful. Especially the illustrated ones: The Lake, The Cliffs, The Desert, and The Beach were my favorite, and there's really nothing in the new sets that are similar. I do have copies of the original .heic images, so if the feature is just gone, is there any recommendations on how I could set up a shortcut or something to recreate the effect?

I don’t know if it helps, but I still have the dynamic wallpaper as my background in the latest iOS update. I just kept it before upgrading and it still works and changes according to the time of day. I just can’t replicate it on another lockscreen.

so the mechanism is still there but I think we can’t choose it.

Dynamic Wallpapers are not available in iOS 17, but you can use the information outlined in Change the wallpaper on your iPhone - Apple Support to select from the options that are currently available.
