Autocorrect turning common words like, ‘and’ to all kinds of first names starting same first letter.
This has been infuriating me! I’ve tried resetting the keyboard dictionary and selecting ‘and’ from the suggestions, but 80% of the time, it changes ‘and’ to ‘Ana,’ ‘Andrew,’ ‘Anna,’ etc. it changed ‘just’ to ‘Jerus’ or ‘Jeremy.’ I’ve never typed those names, but it keep’s autocorrecting things like conjunctions and other high-frequency words to names. I thought about using text replacement for all ‘a’ first names, but that one time a month I might actually want to type a name, it won’t work. I’m surprised it didn’t change ‘but’ to ‘Beatrice.’
It also used to change ‘for’ to ‘f-i-r’ (without the hyphens) 100% of the time, and text replacement works because I literally never use that word. Whoever coded that must really like coniferous trees!
