MacBook Air keyboard Going Crazy Again!

Last December (2022) my MacBook Air's keyboard started typing with a mind of it's own....typing letters in the wrong placeipping letters (just like this ) skipping letters, etc. I had already replaced my keyboard ONCE for the same problems, at my expense. That was prior to my learning that what I was experiencing was NOT an unknown flaw and that there was a Class Action law-suit pending against Apple for this problem. The upshot...Apple replaced my keyboard-this time at Apple's expense. Of course, i didn't realize at the time that my problem was not ACTUALLY fixed because they only replaced my keyboard with a "new" keyboard that was the exact same make & model as the one I already had! This is the epitome of the term "built-in obsolesence"! Now, less than a year later, my keyboard has taken mind of its own once more! Needless to say, I am pretty angry. My computer is otherwise functioning fine and not needed to be replaced.

I wonder what the record for replacing the same keyboard is?

If I have the keyboard replaced for a THIRD time, does anyone know if it will be the same keyboard with the same issues that will cause it to go crazy like the first two?

Sorry for the griping. I just had to vent someplace!

I hadn't been using my external keyboard due to not having any new rechargeable batteries, so I got some and installed them. This keyboard works like a charm, as opposed to the built-in one! I didn't realize until I had to replace the keyboard a second time that Apple was merely replacing my keyboard with a "new" defective keyboard! It's infuriating that my choice is to replace the installed keyboard in my Air, knowing I'll probably have to do it again in less than a year, use an external keyboard until my computer dies, or buy a new computer!!

Thanks for letting me vent some more!
