Translate Non-English Voice Message to English?

Living in Southern California, I often get robo calls in various languages. I have my phone set to not answer numbers it doesn't recognize. A while back, I got a voice mail. One of my Mandarin speaking friends told me it was for "me" to contact whatever company because my visa was expiring. (I'm a fifth generation American, so don't need a visa.)

In any case, I've now received two more of these. I don't know if they're in Mandarin or Cantonese. I was hoping to play them on my phone to the translate app on my iPad, but it doesn't pick anything up.

Any idea how I can get these to work with the translator app?

Hi perfectreign,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're interested in transcribing your voicemail from another language.

Do you happen to have Visual Voicemail for these messages? If so, you can copy the message to the Translator app to translate it for you.

If you'd like to learn more about Visual Voicemail, this is a handy resource for you: Check your voicemail on iPhone - Apple Support

Take care!
