Did the update now my bright.net email will not work.

[text](string) = username

[id](string) = auth_missing_tag

[lang](string) = {ERR_undefined}. This is what I get trying to login to bright.net mail. Updated to 17.1. iPad

No password provided" error I am getting a "No password provided" error when trying to update a email account password in Mail but even though i put it in it insists there is no password provided. How Can I correct this

Comcast Email Error We changed our email account password and when we try to update the email on our ipad/email it tells us "Go to mail settings and enter a password". The password is there and correct but it still thinks its missing. What now? I have already deleted and restarted the ipad several times. The email address is functioning fine on windows desktop. imap.comcast.net, smtp.comcast.net SSL with password and 993 are the settings. Any suggestions?

Impossible to sign in to Apple Mail on iPad using iPad Air 3 with padOS 16.5.1 (c) After changing my iCloud password, I'm having trouble with my Apple Mail app on my iPad. When I opened it today, I was greeted with a series of screens designed for when you haven't created an email account: 1. open Mail, get "Welcome to Mail" screen with account choices (iCloid, MS Exchange, Google, etc) 2. Select "iCloud", window pops up (see first image) to enter iCloud email address 3. I enter my iCloud email address, tap "Next" 4. Box for password appears, I enter my password, tap "Next" 5. "Verifying" message pops up (see second image) 6. stops verifying, and we go back to step 3 above and I'm in an endless loop. Of interest: Apple Mail works fine on my iMac. Any helpful ideas for getting out of this loop and regaining use of Apple Mail would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you, Tod

Remove the email account, re-add it, and try again.

There is no supported downgrade with iOS.
