Anyone having issues with Watch Ultra 2’s battery draining at a fast rate and being unable to keep a charge, after update to IOS 10.1? I am also unable to update Ultra 2 to a modular Ultra face. I tried restarting Ultra 2 and phone to no avail.
Turn on low power mode. I found that’s the only way to charge it now. But once off that or on it really the battery goes down. The OS is doing something wonky.
I have the same issue - I have fully reset the watch and set it up as a new Apple Watch (as the problem recurred when I restored it from back up, to no avail. Still draining super fast, so fast in fact that when on the charger it barely increases the charge %.
Yea I have a thing scheduled for tomorrow. It worked fine on 10 and then got 10.1 and now it can’t charge without being on low power mode. So if you’re having charging issues then on low power mode to charge to 100 and then watch as your battery drops extremely fast. I have a watch that supposedly can go 2 plus days without a charge. At this rate it won’t make it to tomorrow and it’s 730pm central time lol. I tried to tell them it’s an OS issue so I hope they push out a fix PRONTO. Told my mom not to update cause she has a series 9. Anyway will say the gestures is cool but having my watch not die through battery drain would be better.
