How to update my MacBook Pro that indicate "no app update available"

Macbook pro is still on MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6. Many of the websites warm about outdated Os and do not display contents anymore. When try to update the OS, I do not see any update available for this MacBook Pro. When I went to the App Store, and click on update, it only showed "No app available". How to bring my MacBook up to date to the current OS?

Did you use Safari and go to this link? How to download and install macOS - Apple Support

Scroll down to the App Store section, and download the Ventura installer.

You can update to MacOS Ventura (your computer's too old for Sonoma).
