When I transferred all my data from my old Mac mimi to my new Mac mini, it seems that my keychain did not transfer. Maybe that is a security precaution. How can I restore my keychain without inputing all my passwords?

iCloud Keychain does backup and restore back to your device, so it should be available. Please make sure oyu are signed into your same Apple ID on your new Mac and that the iCloud Keychain option is checked in Settings.
