Whatsapp on Apple Watch
I recently received two WhatsApp messages directly to my Apple Watch Series 8. My iPhone was approximately two miles away from me at the time. How is this possible??

You will receive push notifications for third party apps as long as your watch is connected to wifi or cellular, and your phone is also connected to wifi or cellular.
