So when I tap Set As Current Watch Face on any of my faces in the app nothing happens on the watch. The button indicates that I’ve tapped it. This happens with all my faces. New faces I’ve added aren’t showing up on the watch either.
Also some of the faces the complications I set are missing. Looks like the weather ones. So maybe it has to do with the weather app? I try to add them but they remain blank, like the complication is set to off.
Thank you. I think I solved it. I read somewhere else here that those third party watch face apps are causing a problem with the battery (completely different issue) so I deleted them and now the watch app on the phone works again.
Not sure why.

A setting that you can check on your iPhone if you are having problems with watch faces, is to make sure Apple Watch Faces is on for Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. Here, you can also make sure Precise Location is turned on as well.
