Back up iPhone to NAS
I have a synology NAS and would like to backup my iPhone and iPad to the NAS device.
iOS/iPadOS support iCloud backups, or backing up to a computer directly. Backing up directly to a NAS is not supported.

If you back up to your Mac, and the Mac is backing up to the Synology NAS, then the backups on the Mac are backed up on the Synology NAS.
Direct backup from the iPhone to the Synology is not something that the iPhone can do.
