I usually have silent mode on but when I have it off, my keyboard clicks sound too loud and even hurt my ears when I have my airpods in. Same thing also goes for the notification sound for imessages. It is way too loud when it dings and gives/reminds of the ringing I get in my ears and I feel like it makes it worse.

Go to settings > sounds & haptics > Keyboard feedback > sound
I don’t think there’s a way to turn it down without turning the other sounds down, only off.
