I am referring to the same file as in the thread topic which also has the same symptom. Surely that's a valid enough reason to be included? What is the logic in posting duplicate questions?
That's not the way this forum works. People participate and try to earn points with helpful responses. But only the person who originally started the thread can award these points. So when you piggyback onto someone else's post, most of the people who provide solutions are going to ignore your post entirely.
Furthermore, the person who started this thread said that the problem went away after restarting in safe mode and running Disk First Aid. But that doesn't make any sense, so it is unlikely to help anyone else. We don't know what is going on here. You may be able to provide more meaningful information, but no one is going to want to interact in this thread.
At least this part of your comment was constructive. It is possible as leroydouglas mentioned, that it could well turn out to be an internal profile file.
I'm skeptical. "Apple Corporate Insight and Detection Agent" is a name that Apple would never use. If Apple ships an Apple Corporate Insight and Detection Agent, they would name it something like "ACIDA.Framework". On the other hand, malware normally doesn't pretend to be anything other than malware either. But the OP did say they couldn't interact with the file in any way, whereas you said you were able to delete the file.
I only thought there may have been a moderator online today and we could have all shared the knowledge.
That would be a great idea, but it never happens. You can start your own question and maybe get a solution. But if this were a widespread problem, no one would care about your solution. Once a thread gets started with enough "me too" and "same here" responses, there is no answer they will accept. I've seen this happen so many times before.
