I just bought a 12TB OWC Elite Pro for backups. After formatting it and setting it up for Time Machine, the back up fails because the drive is almost full. There’s nothing on the drive. Anyone?
Given the fact the backup drive is empty, most likely it is the source drive that is almost full. The wording of the Time Machine message is meant to be interpreted literally.
