Merge Video Tracks Shortcut

Dangnabbit, I have been trying to find the keyboard shortcut to merge video tracks in FCP 7.( I want to lower V2 and V3 into V1 on a significant sequence) I know it involves the "down arrow" but I'm at a loss.

iMac 2010, Mac OS X (10.6.4), I'm a well meaning everyman who never meant any harm

Select the clips on V2 and V3 and press Op-C to nest them. Move the nest onto the V1. Is that what you mean?

Using the Track Select tools, select all clips on V3 and while holding down the Shift key, drag them to V2. Repeat the process for the clips on V2.

I don't get what you're trying to do. Move the clips from and 2 and 3 onto V1? Most likely you're going to have to do that manually.

No, actually I'm hoping to retain the individual clips. The Opt-C command makes them into a single clip. The post house I'm delivering to asked for a single video track but we need the cuts to remain seperate for the color correction process. Does that make sense? I'm a bit of a noob both at FCP and the forums.
