After upgrade to iOS 17.1, Apple Music freezes and stops. I’ve tried streaming and downloading, different Wi-Fi and I’ve just restored to factory with basic setup, no transfer, straight into music and it does the same. iPad 6th generation. Everything else works, it’s just music. Subscriber to Apple Music. Anyone else seeing this or have suggestions please?
17.2 has fixed this (utterly annoying) issue.

I thought about this as well. I wonder if anyone has a Samsung tablet to try Apple Music on? I know there is an android app for it…
Really frustrating that this issue persists but good to see it being widespread reported/ discussed and Apple are aware of it. Hoping 17.2 will ultimately resolve this issue.
shocking from apple putting lifespans on their products I only use my iPads for music and now f—king useless to me could put an hammer through it
It works great on my Samsung Z Fold 4 as well as all of my MacBook Pros.....

Greybeard14: Yes. It’s happened to quite a few of us. I’ve had two pulled just for daring to post the forbidden four-letter word starting with “b”. It’s quite ridiculous to be censored like this.
I have been having this same issue on both iPad and iPhone since update and still paying for Apple Music.

I am experiencing the same issues with the 7th generation ipad.
I have this update and it did not correct this issue on my 7th generation ipad.
I JUST ditched Splotchify and took the free intro 3 months to Apple Music. This is a rough introduction. At least it seems to work OK on my phone.
My music has been stolen from me from the same company I have supported through I Tunes since its inception!
