WPS needed for setup

WPS is not supported by AirPort Time Capsule. WPS is a relatively new protocol (compared to Time Capsules). Sumo or Spectrum should have instructions on how to connect to wi-fi routers that don't support WPS.

Yes it is, and has been for a long time....since the 6.3.x versions of AirPort Utility were introduced. The AirPort Express and AirPort Extreme also support WPS.

Take a look at the screenshot below of AirPort Utility and my Time Capsule. The menu item under Base Station states Add WPS Printer, but I have no trouble adding other WPS devices if I want to use that type of setup.

I've helped countless number of users who posted on the old AirPort support boards with the WPS setup.

Thanks Bob. I had found that somewhere but thought that it only was for printers. Wrong again.
