Can't connect HomePod Mini to internet. Doesn't show up in the Home app. Holding phone next to it still can't connect.

Recently changed routers. HomePod mini won't connect by holding phone near it (have latest OS), and it doesn't show up in the Home App. Use add accessory, and it isn't found. It doesn't have a USB C connector either, so can't use my Mac to reset it. Any ideas?

You can reset it on the Mac if you use the original USB-C cable it came with. Unplug that from the adapter plug and plug into the port on your Mac

.Otherwise use the pressing the top method to reset then set it up again with the iPhone that’s in the new wifi network.

Hi. I do have the box, but I didn't see a code on it. I am not on the same wifi network which is obviously the problem. We got a new router, and I haven't been able to get into the HomePod to change it to the new one. Another responder suggested I hook up to my Mac and reset it that way. I just ordered the USB-C to USB adapter so that I can try that.

Pressing the top to reset doesn't work either. I get the same message "I am having trouble connecting to the Internet. For more info check the Home App." The homepod doesn't appear in the Home app, and I haven't been able to add it to the Home app, so I can't use my phone either to reset it. I am hoping that using the USB-c adapter will be successful. If that doesn't work when I get the adapter, I may need to put the old router and Wifi network back into action in order to start over.
