MacOS Sonoma: "Bluetooth" does not connect.

"Bluetooth" does not connect to device,

just spins the "searching" icon around, under "Nearby Devices".


Devices:

New Sony headphones. Work with iPhone 13 ( 17.1.0 )


System:

MacBook M1, MacOS Sonoma,


Bluetooth Controller Info:

State: On

  Chipset: BCM_4378

  Discoverable: Off

  Firmware Version: v33295

  Product ID: 0x4A01

  Supported services: 0x392039 (HFP AVRCP A2DP HID Braille LEA AACP GATT SerialPort ).

Are the headphone's set to pairing or discovery mode as per their own instructions?

If they work with iPhone, it suggests they are paired with it and would not show up for any other device unless unpaired from the iPhone and set to Pairing mode again.
