When using iCloud services, such as iCloud Photos, files are synchronised between devices that are using the same AppleID. Devices that are signed-in to iCloud with a different AppleID will not be affected.

As such, deletion of photos from one device will result in the corresponding photos being deleted from iCloud and all devices that are using the same AppleID. Deletion are initially moved to the Recently Deleted folder - from where they can be recovered while they remain within the Recently Deleted folder.

Files/Photos remain in the Recently Deleted folder for 30-days - after which they are automatically deleted. You can also manually delete them from this folder before 30-days should you choose to do so. Deletion from the Recently Deleted folder is permanent/irreversible.
