Does Apple delete seemingly inactive Apple ID accounts at some point?

I’d like to know, if Apple may delete a seemingly unused account with an Apple ID at some point automatically from their side and if they give any warning upfront?

So if you were to create a free standard Apple ID account xyz@icloud.com, but then you don’t use it for 3 years, so it is not logged in on a device, no one logged in to it on the web for a very long time, no one uploaded any files for a long time, no one received mails for a long time etc.

Will it be deleted by Apple at some point or will it stay in existence?

We in fact do know some of what Apple says about this:

Legal - iCloud - Apple

VII. B "In addition, Apple may terminate your Account upon 30 days’ prior notice via email to the address associated with your Account if (a) your Account has been inactive for one (1) year; or (b) there is a general discontinuance of the Service or any part thereof."
