CarPlay and hotspot use
Is anyone else having an issue with using hotspot for passengers and CarPlay after the most recent 17 upgrade? My car/phone was able to do this last week but since the upgrade, now won’t do both
iPad mini, iOS 12
I suffered this problem with the launch of iOS16, but at long last, this problem seems to have been fixed (for me at least). Despite upgrading to an iPhone 15 from an iPhone 12 in October, this problem persisted. When I noticed that iOS 17.4 was available, I installed the update on my phone. I hadn't really thought about the hotspot problem, but the next time I used my car, the phone connected seamlessly to the car's hotspot. It’s been 3 days now and the phone consistently starts CarPlay then automatically connects to the hotspot, which is what used to happen before iOS 16.
