My friends are able to connect to my vehicle and I’m unable to connect to other vehicles so I know it’s not my vehicle. I feel like I have something in my settings messed up.

OT: i can't connect to apple carplay
iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 18
If you are using a VPN or similar it may disable CarPlay on your iPhone as it isn't supported in all regions. It may also be that your apple account is set a different region, that doesn't support CarPlay.
