Is it possible to subscribe apple care plus in France for an iPhone bought in the US?

No, you can't. If you live in France, you should buy your phone in France. iPhone Warranty is NOT international. If you buy a phone in the US, it will be dual eSim ONLY and if you have an issue with the phone in France, you'll need to physically bring the phone back to the US for service and/or replacement.
It's NEVER a good idea to buy your iPhone in a country different from where you live and will use the phone.
