I have plugged the phone into my MacBook. Currently, I get an Apple logo the blinks on/off every 5 - 10 seconds.
Thoughts?

If you never turned it on in 4 years most likely the battery died. Batteries need to be cycled between charge and discharge periodically. If their charge goes to zero they die.

Thank you for the quick follow up. Unfortunately, I finally ended up at the Apple Care place. They offered to replace the phone, saying it was probably something to do with the "mother board". Bottom line, send it in, pay us $400 up front we will see what we can do with it.
I suppose my point of angst is that this phone has never been used. I got in a 2 for 1 program w/ AT&T back in 2019. Figured I'd keep it in case my primary phone fell apart.

I have an iPhone 11, never used. When I try to turn it on, it give me a "support.apple.com/iphone/restore"...what do I need to do?
